Questions about checking an iCal feed
What the checker reads, how it handles calendar data, and what a successful result can—and cannot—tell you.
Which files and inputs can I check?
Use a plain-text .ics file up to 1 MB, paste iCalendar text, or provide a publicly reachable HTTPS calendar URL. URL requests are limited to public hosts and standard HTTPS, with bounded redirects and response size. The checker does not connect to booking-platform accounts.
Does a valid result guarantee my calendar synced?
No. A readable file does not confirm that another service fetched it, interpreted every rule as intended, or updated availability. Check the feed in the platform where you manage bookings and confirm the expected dates there.
Does the checker expand recurring events?
Yes. Recurring series are expanded from today through the following 366 days, so the timeline shows upcoming occurrences, and a note in the result says how many series were expanded. Very large expansions stop at a preview limit and the result says so. Time-zone references and selected date or structure issues are reported, but this is not a full RFC 5545 conformance certificate.
Are my uploaded file and one-time result saved?
One-time file and text checks are processed on the server and are not saved to an account or result history. Avoid submitting guest names, access codes, or other information that is not needed to check the feed.
What does daily monitoring store?
A monitor stores its feed URL encrypted and keeps minimized check metadata — status, event count, and finding categories — for up to 30 days. It does not store event descriptions in the monitor history. Registration is open: create an account, verify your email, and save a feed to start daily checks.
Can I subscribe or start a free account today?
Yes — a free account starts with one daily monitor. The Multi-feed plan costs $9 per month for up to 10 feeds; see the pricing page for the plan details.
How do I get help or ask about cancellation?
Use the contact page for product questions. The cancellation and refund information explains how to cancel a subscription and when refunds apply.
